Ushers

Serving as an usher is a great way to serve during Mass that won’t put a strain on your busy schedule. Ushers assist during the Mass, serve as ambassadors of the church, and ensure the parish community is able to worship in a safe, friendly and nurturing environment. Some specific tasks include greeting parish members and guests, helping people find seats, collecting the offering, counting attendance at Mass, and ushering people through Communion.

Qualifications

• The individual must be a registered member of the parish.
• Fully initiated in the faith, that is, be baptized, received First Eucharist, confirmed, and if married, marriage must be recognized by Catholic Church.
• Completed and adhere to the Safe Environment Program of the parish and the Diocese of Dallas.
