Peruvian Singer-Actress Mezzo-soprano Silvia Paola Núñez, shares a large repertory which includes different styles of oratorio, opera, and art song. Ms. Núñez got her BM in Arts-Music from San Agustin National University of Peru in Arequipa. She received the Master of Music in Voice Performance from Texas Christian University and Master in Vocal and Opera Performance from Southern Methodist University under guidance of Professor Barbara Hill-Moore, where she also was a recipient of the award for Excellence in Opera. Silvia also earned the Artist Diploma Program degree in Voice Performance at Texas Christian University. Silvia has been highlighted in Solo Recitals throughout the metroplex. In addition to her solo recitals there are Concerts and Opera performances with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Apprentice Artist Program with Fort Worth Opera, Southern Methodist University Meadows Theater Opera program and Meadows Symphony Orchestra, Texas Christian University orchestra and Opera productions. And the Rose Rock Opera Institute in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Silvia is a member of The Dallas Opera Chorus. She has been part of several professional ensembles including The National Choir of Peru. On different occasions she represented her country in events and performances throughout Europe, USA and South America. Silvia has set her home in Plano, Texas with her husband Uram Park - Baritone and her three kids Alexander, Isabella and Lucia.
