The Objective of Cursillos de Cristiandad
It is a worldwide ecclesial movement that acts within the Catholic Church. It seeks for the person to know and live fundamental Christianity, through the Kerygmatic announcement of Christ, loving him and making him loved in all the environments where the Cursillista is and with his good example and charity, he is leaven to attract others to encounter the Lord. .- live the love of God and
- live love of neighbor
Our purpose is to give cause for the experience of the fundamental Christian, experienced
through three essential encounters:- the encounter with himself
- the encounter with Christ and
- the meeting with the brothers
The first Cursillo Movement of Christianity in the United States took place in Waco, Texas in 1957.
Everyone is invited to pray the Rosary in the Sanctuary on Tuesdays after the 5:30pm Mass.Our Ultreya (a word that means beyond) is the place where members of the Cursillista community meet weekly (Tuesdays from 6:30pm-8:00pm in the San Pedro/San Pablo room, please enter through the main door from the Sanctuary, follow the hallway to your right, the room is at the end of the hallway). Ultreya is a concrete means of support and encouragement that each of us needs. We are waiting for you! Of colors!
