The mission of the Greeters Ministry is to greet all entering Our Lady of the Lake for weekend, holy day or special Mass with a warm smile. Such persons must demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit in the way they everyone for: “Our first impression is a lasting impression.”

Welcome to the parish Social Events page. Parish social events bring us together outside our church service but occasionally our parish events are organized around a liturgical event. Social events are an opportunity for parishioners to enjoy camaraderie, fellowship and gifts of hospitality.

Sunday Morning Hospitality
 

The Sunday Morning Hospitality Team is made up of volunteers that rotate throughout the year after the 8:00 am and 10:30 am Sunday morning Masses serving Coffee and Donuts. For questions please contact Bill or Diane Fuhrman at 972-722-8586.

What do team members do?

1. Arrive 30 minutes prior to Mass or 30 minutes after
2. Prepare coffee, put out creamer, sugar, napkins, donuts, and orange juice
3. Clean up
4. Secure donations received

Sunday Hospitality Volunteers Needed:

Do you enjoy the Sunday morning hospitality of coffee, donuts and conversation? If so, please consider giving your time to volunteer once a month. If interested in volunteering contact Bill or Diane Fuhrman at 972-722-8586. 

 

WELCOME MINISTRY:

Each month members of the Welcome Ministry are available at an information table located in the Narthex of the church to answer newcomers' questions, provide a welcome packet, and assist with registrations. In addition, the Welcome Ministry, together with the Stewardship Committee, hosts three dinners per year to welcome new parishioners.
